Modular Construction

Encyclopedic information platforms are either large and extensive general platforms (e.g Wikipedia), or niche platforms focusing on specific domains (e.g. crafting, esports etc.).

Compendium's approach is to build modular information sub-platforms known as Books, which are intended to be meta-aggregated into the grand encyclopedic platform known as Compendium.

Domain Selection

The selection of information domains will initially be centralized under the Compendium team. As a crypto-native protocol, the initial Books of Compendium will be focused on knowledge pertaining to the burgeoning domain of blockchain and token-related knowledge, centered around crypto-enabled ecosystems.

This selection process will be decentralized progressively over time, through mechanisms layered onto the tokenized economic system of Compendium.

Genesis Book / Season 1

The Genesis Book of Compendium will be built out with a focus on token-enabled entertainment and culture. The primary domains here include (i) gaming (both blockchain-enabled and fully on-chain), (ii) web3-native clubs and brands, and (iii) digital art.
